Welcome
to the homepage for 'What Sweeter Music', a CD of Christmas carols - profits of which will go to the work of Cancer Research UK.

December 2007
The musicians from 'What Sweeter Music' return to All Saints Church, Weston-super-Mare on Tuesday, 18th December 2007 for the 11th Annual Cancer Research UK 'Carols by Candlelight'.

Starting at 19:00, the evening will include many of the carols featured on the CD and will once again be performed by The Bristol Brass Consort, DeChorum and Christopher Manners on the church's magnificent organ.

All Saints Church is located on All Saints Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2NL. Members of the public are reminded to arrive in good time if they wish to have a seat!

Copies of What Sweeter Music will be on sale at the church and are also available through this website.

July 2007 - THANK YOU
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the public, What Sweeter Music has already raised over £8,000 for Cancer Research UK. Despite the seasonal nature of the disc, the CD continues to sell well. We would like to reiterate our thanks to all those who have helped make this project possible, particularly to the musicians and to the many people who contributed towards our production costs. Last, but by no means least, thank you to everyone who bought the CD. You have helped fund the wonderful work for which Cancer Research UK undertake.

Limited supplies of the CD are still available through this website, but What Sweeter Music will be back in the shops on the run up to Christmas 2007.

"Supporting the work of research charities is an investment in all our futures. That’s why I am delighted to support this CD of Christmas carols which is raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and don’t forget Cancer Research UK… for all our sakes”.
