Chris and Lissie's Account

2005 had not been the easiest of years for our family, as Chris (Jonathan's father) underwent major surgery for prostate cancer in March. Having been home for four days following the operation, he then had a heart attack and was once more back in hospital. He made a good recovery, however, in the months running up to Christmas, and therefore it was a terrible shock to us all when, at the end of December, Jonathan was diagnosed with testicular cancer. From the moment he was diagnosed he showed courage which we did not know he possessed. He was determined to beat the disease, and we are so proud of the way in which he has conducted himself throughout this very difficult period of his life.

Jonathan has thrown himself into the production of "What Sweeter Music", and the way in which his friends and colleagues have so willingly supported the project says a tremendous amount about the high regard they have for him.
